CU Software Licensing asks that departments please use their best judgment on business need before asking for a license. Please note that the ETLA has a maximum number of individuals to whom Cornell may provision a CC All Apps Plan license. Named-User licensing provides you with a personal license allowing you to install and use Creative Cloud on any computer. Cornell staff and faculty with a documented business need may also receive access to the the full Creative Cloud All Apps Plan under individual (Named-User) licensing. These licenses remain valid for as long as the student remains a Cornell employee or until a department requests that the license be canceled.Īll requests for Creative Cloud access must go through your department's local IT Support Team. Student employees of Cornell University may be granted Adobe licenses for Cornell employees, in the same manner as regular Cornell employees. Instructional licenses expire a few weeks after the end of the semester, to allow students time to finish late assignments. The request needs to originate from the department, and should include the student's name (first and last), Cornell NetID, and a short description of the student's academic need, such as a course requirement (please include the course number). This license is granted only at the request of the student's instructor, academic advisor, or academic department. This license is granted on a semester-by-semester basis, with Summer Session counting as a separate semester. CIT can provide individual Creative Cloud instructional licenses to students who have an academic need for the software. ![]()
